Trade Finance Analyst
The hiring company is one of the leading commodity trading conglomerates established in a key market in Southeast Asia and has business presence worldwide.
Responsibilities:
- Liaise with Operations Team, Traders and banks to handle guarantees, standby
letters of credit and letters of credit for import and export - Ensure trade documentation comply with sales/purchase contracts
- Monitor ongoing trades to take appropriate actions with relevant stakeholders
- Liaise with banks for RMA, confirmation and discounting quotes
Requirements
- Good knowledge of trade finance products
- General knowledge on financial terms
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Basic knowledge of Base Metals
- Working knowledge of UCP and incoterms
- Diligent, proactive and eye for detail
- Ability to effectively communicate and interact with a wide range of individuals
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a high-pressured environment
- Experienced in dealing with banks an advantage
