Transport Operations Specialist

Anex Tour Tourism LLC is looking for an experienced Transport Operations Specialist to join our Operations Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily transportation operations, supplier coordination, company fleet management, and ensuring efficient transport services across the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily transportation operations and source vehicles from transport suppliers.
• Obtain quotations, negotiate rates, and manage transport supplier relationships.
• Plan vehicle requests and monitor supplier performance and transportation costs.
• Reconcile transport invoices and maintain accurate operational records.
• Manage the company-owned vehicle fleet, including maintenance, repairs, breakdown coordination, and service scheduling.
• Monitor vehicle registration, insurance, technical inspections, and official documentation.
• Coordinate daily operations with the driver team.
• Ensure smooth transport services while considering UAE traffic conditions and operational requirements.

Skills

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in transport operations within a DMC or tour operator.
• Strong knowledge of UAE geography, including Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, and Ras Al Khaimah.
• Experience working with transport suppliers and fleet operations.
• Knowledge of different vehicle types and capacities (Sedan, Minivan, Minibus, Coach).
• Fluent English (written and spoken) is required.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel (Pivot Tables, Filtering).
• Ability to work under pressure, solve operational issues quickly, and manage crisis situations.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and during peak seasons.
• Candidates must have their own accommodation and transportation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Urdu.
• Experience in timing and grouping.
• UAE Driving License.
• Experience using fleet or dispatch management software.
• Previous UAE work experience is an advantage.
