Vendor Healthcare Implementation Specialist
Imagine360 is seeking an Implementation Support Specialist to join the team! The Implementation Support Specialist helps maintain accurate vendor, routing, hierarchy, and implementation tracking documentation that supports client implementations and internal operational teams. This role is responsible for updating vendor reference materials, tracking implementation-specific requirements, coordinating information with cross-functional subject matter experts, and helping ensure vendor and routing details are documented clearly and consistently across the organization.
Position Location: 100% remote
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Maintain and update vendor tracking documentation, vendor reference materials, preferred vendor lists, and related operational tools.
- Support new and renewing vendor implementations by documenting applicable vendors, vendor types, product applicability, plan requirements, vendor notes, network IDs, and routing direction.
- Assist with maintaining network routing documentation, including approved routing direction, network hierarchy, claim type, pricer, benefit tier, benefit differential, and related operational notes.
- Track vendor additions, removals, updates, exceptions, and implementation-specific requirements through completion.
- Coordinate with cross-functional subject matter experts to confirm vendor availability, hierarchy placement, routing logic, product applicability, and implementation requirements.
- Review vendor and routing information for completeness, accuracy, and consistency prior to implementation handoff or downstream system updates.
- Review healthcare benefit terminology and plan details, including copays, coinsurance, benefit differentials, and related member cost-share information, to support accurate vendor and routing documentation.
- Prepare and distribute internal communications related to vendor updates, hierarchy changes, routing requirements, implementation notes, and impacted downstream teams.
- Escalate unclear vendor routing, hierarchy, or implementation questions to the appropriate subject matter expert or leadership contact for direction.
- Assist with charitable activities and planning within the Operations and Implementation teams, as well as company-wide initiatives.
- Perform other projects and duties as assigned.
Required Experience/Education:
- Bachelor's degree is preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
- 1-3 years of experience in implementation support, vendor operations, healthcare operations, sales operations, network operations, or a related operational support role preferred.
- Experience maintaining tracking documents, coordinating cross-functional requests, supporting timelines, documenting operational requirements, or managing time-sensitive updates.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, healthcare benefits, copays, coinsurance, and benefit differentials preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to documentation accuracy.
- Ability to organize information, manage competing priorities, and follow up on open items.
- Comfort reviewing operational documentation, vendor information, and implementation requirements.
- Working understanding of common medical terminology, healthcare benefit structures, copays, coinsurance, and benefit differentials.
- Sound judgment, problem-solving skills, and ability to escalate questions when direction is needed.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams in a remote environment.
