Venture Designer

Own the end-to-end venture design sprint across research, strategy, prototyping, and validation. Translate high-level investment themes into validated, venture-backable concepts through market analysis, human-centred design, rapid experimentation, and presentation to the Investment Committee.

Responsibilities

• Break investment themes into problem spaces and opportunity areas.
• Conduct market research, identify structural gaps, and map competitive landscapes.
• Generate venture concepts using human-centred design principles.
• Design and run A/B tests, prototype tests, and user interviews.
• Synthesise research into evidence-backed recommendations and shortlist strong concepts.
• Present validated concepts to the Investment Committee.
• Collaborate with Venture Designers, Venture Builders, investors, and functional specialists.
• Track emerging technologies, tools, and market shifts.

Requirements

• Proven experience in 0→1 concept development, venture design, or similar roles.
• Strong strategic thinking and bias for action.
• Deep comfort with market research and competitive analysis.
• Experience designing and running rapid experiments with real users.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
• Curiosity, creativity, and disciplined prioritisation.
• Comfort with ambiguity and pace.
