VP, Sales (Financing)

Own and scale an institutional lending and financing book by sourcing borrowers and lenders, structuring and pricing collateralized transactions, managing counterparties, and building the financing desk over time.

Responsibilities

• Originate and execute institutional crypto lending, borrowing, and financing transactions.
• Build and scale the lending book and optimise utilisation.
• Develop and manage institutional borrower relationships.
• Cross-sell financing products with institutional sales.
• Structure, price, negotiate, and execute commercial and credit terms.
• Partner with risk and operations on onboarding, margining, collateral management, and exposure monitoring.
• Maintain HubSpot CRM accuracy and produce pipeline, activity, and revenue reporting.
• Represent Hex Trust at conferences, client events, and panels.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of relevant experience in institutional financing, securities lending, prime brokerage, repo, or crypto lending.
• Proven track record originating and growing a lending book.
• Existing network of institutional borrowers and lenders.
• Deep knowledge of collateralized lending, LTVs, margining, haircuts, liquidation, rehypothecation, tri-party structures, and credit risk.
• Hands-on familiarity with risk and collateral dashboards such as Haruko.
• Strong commercial, structuring, pricing, negotiation, and transaction-closing skills.
• Credit-aware and comfortable working with risk and legal.
• Crypto-native experience or a demonstrated transition from TradFi into digital assets.
• Comfort discussing custody, collateral segregation, on-chain settlement, and stablecoin mechanics.
• Strong English communication; Mandarin is a plus.
• Comfort using AI tools such as Claude.
• Must be onsite in Hong Kong, Singapore, or Dubai, or work 100% remotely.
