I. DUTIES
The Weatherization Program Manager has a leadership role in program planning, implementation, and evaluation of the Weatherization Program and other activities, as directed and/or authorized by the Chief Operating Officer.
A. Provides general program management and supervision for the Weatherization Program and program staff/contractors.
B. Serves as Auditor/Estimator/Inspector for the Weatherization Program throughout the designated service area.
C. Performs routine and technical tests/measures/calculations on homes selected for services.
D. Serves as the agency’s liaison with contractors performing Weatherization work and oversees and inspects their work to assess compliance with program regulations and standards.
E. Implements and adheres to production schedule as determined and assigned.
F. Assures that all assignments are completed in compliance with applicable program, state, and federal requirements, regulations, and protocols.
G. Oversees and conducts home visits and inspections as necessary to carry out duties and requirements.
H. Manages required records and adheres to program record keeping and filing procedures.
I. Ensures compliance with all program requirements, including meeting deadlines, providing reports, and addressing monitoring and reviews.
J. Assists with and adheres to approved program budgets.
K. Responsible for preparing and issuing regular, periodic reports on assigned program activities, to various agencies and/or funding sources, as assigned and directed.
L. Ensures program staff/contractors adhere to program guidelines mandated either internally or by the agency’s funders, including all mandated programmatic reporting requirements.
M. Participates actively as a member of LHDC’s Management team.
N. Markets and promotes LHDC programs throughout program service areas.
O. Attends and/or convenes meetings, conferences, workshops, and training sessions as authorized and directed and maintains required certifications for the provision of the Weatherization Program.
P. Supports and promotes the agency’s mission, vision, values, and goals including the agency’s Strategic Plan.
