Summary
Operations and Quality Assurance Pharmacist supporting pharmacy operations, process improvement, controlled-drug compliance, GMP/GDP, and ISO audits in a Singapore healthcare setting. Core work spans workflow/dashboard analytics, automation, regulatory QA, and product registration.
Working Hours: Mon- Fri 8.30am to 6pm; Alt Sat 8.30am to 12.30pm

Operations Pharmacist (Ops Excellence)
ROLE ANDRESPONSIBILITIES
1. Lead and support day-to-day pharmacy operations, including workflow management, inventory management, manpower deployment, and operational problem-solving.
2. Analyse operational data and processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, trends, and improvement opportunities.
3. Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and operational KPIs to support data-driven decision-making.
4. Lead or support quality improvement and operational excellence projects to improve productivity, quality, turnaround time, and cost-efficiency.
5. Identify opportunities to digitise and automate manual or repetitive processes within pharmacy operations.
6. Work with IT teams and vendors to translate operational requirements into system solutions, including system testing, implementation, troubleshooting, and enhancements.
7. Act as a Pharmacy System Superuser, supporting user training, system adoption, and downtime or contingency workflows.
8. Apply data analytics, automation, AI, and emerging technologies to solve operational problems and improve business performance.
9. Support strategic and cross-functional projects, including analytics, process improvement, and transformation initiatives beyond Pharmacy where appropriate.
10. Stay informed of relevant industry, technology, analytics, and healthcare trends and identify opportunities to continuously improve and transform pharmacy operations.
Requirements
1. Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or equivalent qualification recognised by the Singapore Pharmacy Council.
2. Full registration with the Singapore Pharmacy Council and in active practice.
Quality Assurance Pharmacist
Responsibilities:
Controlled Drug (CD)
· Act as the CD Responsible Person in CD Wholesale Licence
· Act as point of contact for CD related operations, key performance indicators and audits
· Ensure receipt, storage, checking, distribution and disposal of Controlled Drugs are in accordance with operational and regulatory requirements
Secondary Assembly / GMP
· Act as the Authorized Person(AP) or Delegated Authorized Person (DAP) for final release of repacked therapeutic products
· Assist with GMP related activities
Quality Assurance / Regulatory
· Review weekly environmental monitoring logs (temperature/RH) and manage reportable environmental excursions
· Review other QA related records such as calibration, mapping, pest control and cleaning records meet requirements.
· Create/update training materials and provide initial and refresher training
· Participate in investigations ,root cause analysis and report writing for nonconformities, medication errors and near misses.
· Assist in the revision and review of quality and environment standard operating procedures and work instructions to ensure continued efficacy and relevance
· Support the implementation of quality improvement initiatives
· Assist in auditing various functions based on ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, GMP and/or GDP standards
· Assist in therapeutic product/medical device registration
· Assist in sustainability carbon footprint tracking
· Other activities as required by Manager
REQUIREMENTS
· Bachelor of Science (Pharmacy) or equivalent recognized by the Singapore Pharmacy Council
