Working Student Accounting
You will support the accounting team by processing and reviewing invoices, maintaining invoice records, managing approval workflows, following up on missing invoices, and completing administrative tasks. The role also contributes to monthly closings, regulatory and investor reporting, audits, internal reviews, and process improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Support the recording and review of invoices via Payhawk and Oracle NetSuite
- Maintain invoice entries for all entities electronically and by mail
- Assist with virtual credit card and travel expense report management
- Support monthly closings and preparation of regulatory and investor reports
- Assist with audits, internal reviews, ISAE 3402 audits, work instruction updates, and process improvement initiatives
- Support communication with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
- Enrollment in economics, finance, accounting, or a related field
- Basic expertise in accounting and related processes
- Good communication skills in English
- Strong sense of ownership and responsibility
- Keen attention to detail
- Eagerness to deepen knowledge of accounting, processes, and internal controls
- Interest in banking, fintech, and investing
- Fluent German in written and verbal communication
