Position Summary As an Analytics Consultant at EXL, you will play a crucial role in providing consulting and analytics support to a client within our Sports and Media practice. The primary responsibility of this role is to leverage your expertise in data analytics to empower the client in making informed business decisions. You will work with a dynamic team and contribute to the success of Fortune 500 companies across various industry domains. Responsibilities: Collaborate with the client to understand their business objectives and challenges within the Sports & Media sectors. Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and ensure the delivery of high-quality analytics solutions. Utilize your strong analytical and problem-solving skills to extract meaningful insights from data and contribute to data-driven decision-making. Lead, manage and train small teams, providing guidance and expertise in the field of data analytics. Develop and maintain advanced SQL queries for data extraction and analysis. Leverage Python for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization. Apply intermediate Machine Learning techniques to enhance analytical solutions. Create compelling visualizations, storyboards, and reports to effectively communicate insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Contribute to the continuous improvement of analytics processes and methodologies. Qualifications (Required): Bachelor’s degree in economics, mathematics, computer science/engineering, operations research or related analytics areas from a top tier university/college 3-5 years of hands-on experience in data and analytics roles. Extremely proficient in SQL for robust data extraction and analysis. Strong programming skills in Python. Intermediate expertise in Machine Learning concepts and applications. Excellent communication(written & verbal), problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Self-started and willingness to take on challenging initiatives Effective time management and attention to detail Proficient in storyboarding, Excel, and PowerPoint. Good knowledge of statistical analysis and experimental design. Qualifications (Preferred): Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Analytics, Business Analytics). Industry experience in Sports or Media. Familiarity with additional data analysis and visualization tools. Advanced statistical analysis and modeling skills.
