Assistant Manager / Manager, Innovation & Improvement #HDC1

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager / Manager, Innovation & Improvement to support strategic innovation, digital transformation and continuous improvement initiatives within a dynamic healthcare environment. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with clinical, operational and technology stakeholders to develop smarter ways of working and drive meaningful improvements across healthcare delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Support the development and refinement of Smart Hospital strategies, transformation roadmaps and implementation plans.
Partner with clinical, operational and corporate stakeholders to identify opportunities, challenges and improvement areas across care delivery processes.
Conduct environmental scanning and benchmarking of local and international healthcare innovation practices.
Support initiatives across Smart Clinic, Smart Ward and Smart Radiology to improve patient outcomes, operational efficiency and workforce effectiveness.
Support the adoption and implementation of AI, automation and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) initiatives.
Identify, assess and prioritise suitable technology and automation use cases to streamline workflows and improve productivity.
Coordinate training sessions, workshops and engagement activities to build organisational capabilities in digital and automation technologies.
Plan, coordinate and execute innovation, transformation and continuous improvement programmes.
Manage multiple projects concurrently while tracking milestones, risks, dependencies, resources and outcomes.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation and integration of initiatives.
Prepare business cases, presentations, project documentation and management reports.
Coordinate Smart Hospital showcases, innovation demonstrations and stakeholder visits.
Develop communication materials and engagement content to showcase project outcomes and impact.
Provide secretariat support for committees, workgroups and meetings, including preparing agendas, minutes and follow-up documentation.
Support process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, effectiveness and operational outcomes.
Requirements
Recognised University Degree, preferably in Health Sciences, Social Sciences, Business, Healthcare Management, Public Health or related disciplines.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in healthcare, community care, social care, programme management, innovation or transformation.
Experience in strategic planning, project management, service redesign or digital transformation will be advantageous.
Exposure to healthcare technology, AI, automation or process improvement methodologies is an added advantage.
Strong project management, analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, report writing and presentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities within tight timelines.
Strong systems-thinking mindset with the ability to translate strategic objectives into practical solutions.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Visio.
