BDR, Manager

Lead and coach Ramp’s London BDR team while building the company’s European market presence. Recruit representatives, model prospecting and qualification, develop the BDR playbook, create messaging and sales collateral, set activity and pipeline goals, improve performance through coaching and data, and partner across sales and marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Lead from the front as a hands-on player-coach.
  • Hire, coach, and develop a high-performing BDR team.
  • Build and evolve Ramp’s European BDR playbook.
  • Create messaging, sequences, call scripts, discovery frameworks, and objection-handling collateral.
  • Set activity, conversion, and pipeline goals.
  • Use data and coaching to improve team performance.
  • Partner with account executives and cross-functional counterparts.
  • Experiment with campaigns and outreach approaches.
  • Help define Ramp’s go-to-market motion and build the BDR organization.

Requirements

  • AI fluency as a daily habit.
  • At least 1 year of quota-carrying sales experience as an individual contributor.
  • History of consistent quota over-attainment.
  • Evidence of helping individuals or peers improve performance and progress in their careers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Self-starter with a high sense of urgency.
  • Strong ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work five days a week in the London office.
