Channel Partner Manager Canada
Build the Canadian channel partner motion from the ground up by identifying and signing partners, creating joint go-to-market plans, generating referrals, managing onboarding and activation, developing trusted relationships, and turning early learnings into a repeatable operating playbook.
Responsibilities
- Build Ramp’s Canadian channel strategy and operating rhythm from the ground up.
- Research, identify, source, qualify, and sign new Canadian partners.
- Create joint go-to-market and activation plans.
- Drive revenue through partner referrals.
- Develop trusted relationships with decision-makers and operators in partner organizations.
- Educate partners on Canadian capabilities, value propositions, and updates.
- Own partner onboarding, activation, pipeline generation, and regular business reviews.
- Work with the Canadian Sales team to advance partner-referred opportunities.
- Partner with Product to surface recurring partner needs and inform the Canadian roadmap.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years in partner sales, business development, channel partnerships, or a related role.
- Proven track record of sourcing and managing partnerships.
- Strong discovery and consultative-selling skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong operating discipline and ability to use data to improve performance.
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong cross-functional judgment and experience working across functions.
- Familiarity with the Canadian business and technology ecosystem.
- Strong comfort using AI tools to execute quality work quickly.
- Experience building a new partner motion, market, or vertical is a plus.
- Professional proficiency or native-level fluency in French is a plus.
- Presence in Canadian accounting, advisory, private equity, venture capital, financial-services, or technology partner networks is a plus.
- Familiarity with finance and accounting workflows and solutions is a plus.
