The Opportunity
In this role, you will lead cross-functional teams in the execution of complaint investigations, ensuring activities are completed in a timely, compliant, and cost-effective manner. You will monitor team performance through key performance indicators (KPIs), identify opportunities for continuous improvement, and drive process enhancements to support operational excellence. Responsibilities include coaching and developing team members through training, performance management, and succession planning initiatives. As a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for complaint investigations, you will play a key role in maintaining audit readiness, supporting inspections, and leading audit tours. You will also analyze complaint data to identify trends, generate insights, and recommend improvements that enhance product quality and customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will contribute to procedural updates and broader quality system improvements to strengthen compliance and business performance.
This is an on-site position in Alameda, California.
What You’ll Work On
- Under general direction, has duties of instructing, directing, and checking the work of other quality assurance professionals.
- Responsible for application of quality principles and complex analysis of quality records, reports to form recommendations for improvements.
- Conduct inspection, verification and validation of components or materials used in development processes.
- Identify and address recurring problems either with the quality of the product or the reliability of testing procedures.
- Document quality issues and performance measures for management review.
- May liaise with external vendors.
Required Qualifications
- BS degree in life sciences or in Engineering field.
- Must have minimum 5+ years experience in Quality or related field.
- Experience in a GMP environment.
- Must demonstrate strong problem solving techniques.
- Exhibits excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills when interacting with both internal and external customers and stakeholders.
- Displays solid organizational skills, with the flexibility to quickly realign priorities to meet changing business needs

The base pay for this position is
$90,000.00 – $180,000.00In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
