Engineer Design III

Job Summary:
Process projects. Prepare and conceptualize sketches, layouts, and schematics on a job to job basis.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze requirements from customers and develop design solutions
- Prepare bills of materials
- Design and develop cost analysis, test, handle implementation, analysis of products, systems, and new technology
- Produce approval drawings and manufacturing drawings
- Design software test for special applications
- Process feedback from manufacturing
- Assist marketing, manufacturing, and field service with engineering-related issues
- Organize instruction manual
- Research STD data base
- Manage projects and design review system
- Improve computers and design software
- Develop and maintain engineering standards/processes
Skills and Experience:
- 4-10 years of relevant work experience
- Spec interpretation, logic diagrams, electrical theory, understanding of a PC design workstation
- Electrical Theory, Pro-E, AutoCad, Thermal Analysis, PC, analysis
Tools/Equipment:
Corporate network and other engineering software. Oscilloscope and other measurement tools.
Education and Training:
BSEE or BSME REQUIRED
Travel:
- Up to 15% to 25%
