FPGA Intern
Design, develop, test, and deploy proprietary FPGA solutions for advanced trading applications, including exchange-data decoders, event-triggering modules, and FPGA architectures. Research solutions, communicate ideas, and collaborate with software developers, quantitative traders, researchers, and business analysts.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy proprietary FPGA solutions
- Create decoders for raw packet data from exchanges
- Develop modules that trigger events for traded instruments
- Develop FPGA architectures to expand data processing capabilities
- Identify and advocate for solutions to complex problems
- Conduct research to determine effective solutions
- Collaborate with software developers, quantitative traders, researchers, and business analysts
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Machine Learning, or a related science discipline
- Expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2028
- Exposure to the FPGA development flow
- Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms
- Problem-solving and analytical reasoning skills
- Communication and collaboration skills
- Development skills in SystemVerilog, Verilog, or VHDL
- Working knowledge of C++ or Python
