Graduate FPGA Engineer (2027 Start)
Build FPGA-based applications for a global trading firm, creating highly parallelized algorithms, customized low-level networking, and hardware interfaces for advanced server hardware. Collaborate with traders and engineers to accelerate trading and network infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Accelerate network infrastructure and trading system components with high-speed hardware designs
- Research low-latency techniques and platforms
- Identify opportunities to integrate new techniques with the trading system
- Collaborate with traders, software developers, and infrastructure engineers
- Build hardware interfaces for advanced server hardware
Requirements
- University degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a similar field
- Outstanding academic achievements
- Graduation between August 2024 and August 2027
- Maximum of 3 years of work experience
- Academic design experience with FPGAs or ASICs
- Academic experience with VHDL, Verilog, or SystemVerilog
- Ability to work closely with engineers, traders, and business operations
- Open, collaborative, self-critical attitude and willingness to learn
- Desire to understand how systems fit into trading activities
