Lead Product Marketing Manager - Verticals
Own Ramp's vertical go-to-market operating model across construction, A&E, nonprofits, and public sector markets. Set portfolio strategy, become an industry expert, influence the product roadmap, develop cross-product narratives, lead market programs, enable Sales, manage operating cadence, and build customer and partner feedback loops.
Responsibilities
- Set the vertical portfolio strategy and business cases.
- Define scorecards and own business metrics for priority verticals.
- Analyze financial workflows, buying dynamics, regulations, technology ecosystems, and competition.
- Translate market evidence into product requirements and influence the product roadmap.
- Build industry-specific cross-product narratives and end-to-end GTM strategies.
- Define ICP, positioning, claims, proof, channels, launches, sales motions, and adoption plans.
- Lead webinars, customer sessions, partner events, advisory groups, and executive conversations.
- Build sales plays, competitive guidance, proof, and demos.
- Run the cross-functional operating cadence across Product, Growth, Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, and Finance.
- Build customer and partner feedback loops.
- Create a repeatable verticalization playbook.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in B2B software marketing, product marketing, industry marketing, growth, sales strategy, or strategic GTM.
- Experience building GTM strategy for an industry or workflow-heavy market.
- Familiarity with construction, A&E, accounting, ERP, nonprofits, public sector, procurement, accounts payable, or financial operations.
- Experience influencing product strategy with customer, competitive, market, and funnel evidence.
- Experience owning integrated B2B campaigns.
- Strong data literacy across pipeline, conversion, win rate, attach, adoption, and channel performance.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lead senior cross-functional partners without formal authority.
- High agency and comfort with ambiguity.
- Fluency with AI tools for research, analysis, writing, and operations.
