Partner Development Representative Accounting
Identify, source, engage, and qualify accounting-sector partners through inbound qualification and direct outreach. Research firms and stakeholders, educate accounting leaders about Ramp’s partnership program, develop partner relationships, collaborate cross-functionally, and maintain accurate relationship data in Salesforce.
Responsibilities
- Identify and source new accounting-sector partner opportunities
- Engage and qualify prospective partners through emails, calls, social channels, conferences, and events
- Research service offerings, firmographics, organizational structures, and stakeholders
- Collaborate with Channel Partner Managers, Marketing, Operations, and Direct Sales
- Educate accounting leaders and firm stakeholders about Ramp’s partnership program
- Develop new partner relationship strategies
- Maintain accurate partner relationship data in Salesforce
Requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent listening skills
- Comfort with sales and prospecting in virtual and in-person settings
- Dedication to tracking and improving performance and efficiency
- Interest in understanding business challenges across different verticals
- Entrepreneurial self-starter with a high sense of urgency
- Background in client-facing or sales roles in business development, consulting, or investment banking
- Experience partnering with or selling to accounting firms or financial advisors
- Prior CRM experience, preferably Salesforce
- Ability to understand financial services
