Overview Overview Drive Life Science inputs for China beverage innovations and lead its portfolio transformation Drive science-based claims with solid substantiation for China Beverage category Drive to deliver Science & Technology agenda in strong partnership with global Life Science team and external academia partners Support issue management for China Bev via working closely with regional cross functions (Regulatory Affair, Legal & Comms) Responsibilities Responsibilities Lead China Life Science agenda to drive innovation opportunities for beverage category: Partner with the R&D and marketing team to translate nutrition science into compelling on pack claims or communication messages. Partner with the legal and SRA team to ensure all nutrition claims are scientifically substantiated. Maintain nutrition stage gate documentation/substantiation dossiers for new product development. Assess product compliance vs. defined internal innovation guardrail. Lead to substantiate functional claims for beverage category Collaborate with global nutrition science category team & local academia partners to prepare scientific dossiers for functional claims Partner with RA/Legal team to ensure documentation of substantiation dossiers on claims Drive the delivery of Science & Technology agenda Lead study design and study operation via working with global LS and external partners. Deliver the study reports and publications on the study. Lead communication on the study results in key nutrition conference. Qualifications Qualifications PhD or Masters in a nutrition/health related discipline. At least 6-8 years of experience as a nutritionist, preferred in foods & beverage industry. Experience in leading clinical study and good knowledge on research methodologies and protocols development. A good understanding of the broader business and health and nutrition environment; food regulations and nutrition claims in China is essential. Ability to manage multi-task with timely delivery of the projects. Ability to work with internal cross function partners. Ability to establish network with external experts and build partnership with academia Literacy in both spoken & written Chinese is a must Fluent in English – with good writing and communication skills. Good team player and self-starter. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
