Sales Coordinator

Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, VCA Hospitality Management, LLC. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. Job Summary:

The Sales & Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for executing on-property sales and marketing strategies designed in collaboration with the Director of Sales & Marketing. This role will act as the primary liaison between the hotel and clients, ensuring the implementation of campaigns, lead follow-up, coordination of site inspections, and management of key metrics. The position requires proactivity, a strong commercial mindset, and a willingness to learn and apply Marriott’s sales and marketing platforms.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 1 to 3 years of hotel sales experience or in a similar role.
• Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency in Opera Sales & Catering and willingness to learn and apply Marriott’s main sales and marketing platforms:
• Leads & Sales: MI LEADS, Groups360/GroupSync, Cvent, OneSource, QuickGroup.
• Metrics & Reporting: GXP, MGS, One Yield, MRDW.
• Marketing: MI Studio (Brand Works), Marriott Sales Companion (MSC), The Stacks, Sprinkler.
• Execution: Sertifi eSignature.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and persuasive skills.
• Analytical ability to work with metrics, reports, and ROI.
• Languages: Fluent in English, Spanish, Dutch, and Papiamento (required).
• Proactive, results-driven, and able to work independently.
