Software Engineer 3

Requires a developer for a high priority and highly visible malware analysis modernization program. The individual will work with a team of dynamic and innovative engineers to develop new capabilities supporting the virtual malware containment enclave . The individual will also support the modernization of malware enrichment services.

Required Skills:
• Experience with system design and developing large-scale, high-performance applications
• Kubernetes
• Experience with Message Broker Software (RabbitMQ/etc.)
• Ability to mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews
• Ability to develop high-quality, efficient, and testable code
• Ability to debug complex, system-wide issues.
• Java Application (no front end necessary), REST
• Ability to multitask and pivot to different tasks quickly
• Experience with Atlassian tools, Git
• Experience with IntelliJ or Eclipse IDE

Twenty (20) years experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
