Software Engineer, Engineering Platform
Improve engineering workflows across CI/CD, testing, local development, code review, deployments, and remote environments. Design reusable paths for service creation, migrations, background jobs, and safe production changes. Improve the modularity, performance, reliability, and maintainability of the Python monolith, internal libraries, and database systems. Build automation for engineers and AI agents and create reusable systems that teams adopt.
Responsibilities
- Improve development workflows across CI/CD, testing, local development, code review, deployments, and remote environments
- Design paved paths for service creation, migrations, reliable background jobs, and safe production changes
- Improve modularity, performance, reliability, and maintainability across the Python monolith, internal libraries, and database systems
- Build automation for repetitive or error-prone workflows used by engineers and AI agents
- Turn recurring friction and risk into reusable systems, workflows, and defaults
Requirements
- Think in systems across code, infrastructure, workflows, reliability, performance, and people
- Have built and led improvements to systems that make engineers more effective
- Identify problems, align stakeholders, make tradeoffs, ship solutions, and iterate
- Understand how to make safe, high-quality engineering faster
